Make up to 18 freezer meals in one evening
for just $5 a meal that serves 6 - 8 people.
What is dinner time like in your home?
Is it convenient for family members to heat up their own meal in the microwave at different times and then retreat to their own corners of the house?
For many families, eating dinner together has become a lost tradition - but it has proven to be a simple, effective way to reduce the risk of youth substance abuse and to raise healthier children.
It is the perfect time and place to reconnect and to show your kids that they are your priority. Sitting across the table is where and when you can find out more about your children’s likes, dislikes, and daily life. Having this information can help you direct your children toward positive activities and behavior, reducing the likelihood that they will get involved with alcohol, tobacco, and/or illegal drugs. In addition, they are more likely to do well in school, to delay having sex, and to develop better eating habits.
So the question is how do we get our families, between our busy schedules and technology-filled lives, around the table more often to share heart-healthy meals?
I'm offering you an answer... participating in a Community Cook Night in your area.

….and we provide the rest.

Then you will receive instructions for set-up and assembling meals or assembling and clean-up.
Your first time, a buddy will be assigned to you to walk you through the basic steps.
Each table will be set up with a single recipe, instructions on how to assemble the meal, each ingredient needed, measuring cups/spoons, labels with cooking instructions, and a check off list.
The set-up group will be provided with the ingredients for “set-up” of each table. Some prep work may be required.
